Samsung Galaxy J7+ Campaign Video 'Brand’s Best Friend' reached 5 million views in 5 days

Samsung's campaign video for the Galaxy J7+ that was launched last month was a success. Within five days, it reached 5 million views, and then escalated to 9.5 million just after two weeks! Samsung took an opportunity to bank on the love people have for pet-centric content and the abundance of it on social media, so they grabbed it, but did so in the most touching and heart-rending way.

The ad was inspired by the campaign's tagline, Enhance Every Moment, where a dog's life was encapsulated through the phone and having those moments turn into best memories.

One of our best and favorite subjects to take photos of is our pets––be it a dog, a cat, or a hamster––and our camera rolls are most probably filled with thousands of photos of them. On social media, we see an abundance of pet photos, videos as well as memes, and stories, and scrolling past them isn’t so easy either. Pet-centric content is undeniably taking over the internet as almost everyone of us can relate to them even though we don’t share the same language as these animals. . Samsung made the most of this opportunity through its latest Galaxy J7+ campaign.

The concept of Samsung’s newest heart-rending video for the Galaxy J7+ took inspiration from the love humans have for their pets, and how much they enjoy documenting almost everything they do. Samsung went the extra mile and emphasized how these can be enhanced into becoming their best memories.

In just five days, the campaign video reached 5 million views and was also shared thousands of times on social media. Most of the people who have seen the video not only cried, but also lauded Samsung’s efforts in successfully connecting their product to a specific audience, as evident in the video’s 9.5 million views after only two weeks. With the initial idea of demonstrating the Dual Camera capabilities of its latest smartphone, the Galaxy J7+, through a heartfelt video, Samsung was able to connect with us through a shared love for furry friends.

The campaign video with the tagline Enhance Every Moment, successfully tugged on our heartstrings by showing how dogs are just as much family as humans, and how important it is to capture simple but unforgettable moments with them.
